Coin Odyssey Terms of Use
These Terms are the agreement between you and Mosaic Studio LLC (“we,” “us”), an independent software studio based in California, United States, covering your use of Coin Odyssey. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app. For our studio-wide terms, see the Mosaic Studio Terms of Use; our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
License to Use the App
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Coin Odyssey for your own non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control. This license does not transfer any ownership rights to you.
Your Account
- An account is required. You must be old enough to form a binding contract and meet the minimum age described in our Privacy Policy.
- You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and take responsibility for activity under your account.
- Notify us at hello@mosaicstudioapps.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
AI Estimates Are Not an Appraisal
Coin Odyssey uses artificial intelligence to identify coins and estimate their grade. These results are automated estimates for your personal reference only. They are not a professional appraisal, authentication, or grading, and they are not financial advice. Do not rely on them when buying, selling, insuring, or otherwise making decisions about a coin; consult a qualified professional instead. We do not warrant the accuracy of any estimate.
Your Content
You retain any rights you have in the coin records, photos, and notes you add. You grant us the limited license needed to host, store, and display that content so the app works for you, and to send the photos you scan to our AI provider for identification, as described in our Privacy Policy. You must have the rights to any photo you upload.
Your collection is private to your account. Coin Odyssey has no feature for sharing it with other users.
Acceptable Use
- Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the app, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
- Do not rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit the app, or resell its AI estimates as an appraisal service.
- Do not use automated systems to flood the service with requests, or otherwise interfere with its security or integrity.
- Do not upload content that is unlawful or that infringes someone else's rights.
App Store Terms
Coin Odyssey is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, and your use is also subject to the terms of the store you downloaded it from. For the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies in addition to these Terms; where these Terms conflict with that EULA, the EULA governs. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its content and are not parties to these Terms, except that they are third-party beneficiaries entitled to enforce these Terms against you.
Intellectual Property
The app, including its software, text, graphics, logos, and artwork, is owned by Mosaic Studio LLC or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. The Mosaic Studio and Coin Odyssey names, logos, and artwork are our trademarks and may not be used without our prior written permission. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Ending Your Account
You can delete your account and its data at any time from inside the app: open Profile → Delete account.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mosaic Studio LLC and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the relevant App, if any, or twenty U.S. dollars (US $20). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mosaic Studio LLC from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Services or your violation of these Terms.
Termination
These Terms remain in effect while you use the Services. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time by uninstalling the App. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will survive.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date above. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that the state and federal courts located in California will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
